The Vietnam War

Background

This British map of Vietnam and neighbouring countries, was printed on rayon by the military intelligence section of the British War Office during the Second World War. The map was made for British or Allied troops who found themselves needing to escape from, or evade, Japanese forces in the region. [National Library of Australia, Map G8001.S7]
